Postdoctoral Fellow in Materials Engineering United States Position Overview
The Lewis Lab is seeking a postdoctoral fellow with expertise in one or more of the following areas:
- Stem cell biology
- Organoid differentiation
- Bioprinting
The successful candidate will join a multidisciplinary research team supported by NIH, DoD, and Wellcome Leap awards
. Project goals include:
- Developing vascularized cerebral, cardiac, and renal organoids
- Fabricating functional organ-specific tissues at scale
Doctorate degree in Materials Science, Bioengineering, or Stem Cell and Regenerative Medicine by the start of the appointment
Additional QualificationsExperience in two or more of these areas: stem cell biology, organoid differentiation, bioprinting, tissue engineering
Strong track record of prior research accomplishments, demonstrated by high-impact publications and/or patents
