Product Quality Assurance Engineer (QA/QC)

Ensure the quality of components, subassemblies, and humanoid robot products throughout the prototype production process; identify design or process issues early and support improvements to product quality and reliability.
Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and implement quality inspection processes for incoming materials (IQC), in-process checks (PQC), and outgoing products (OQC).
Inspect and evaluate the quality of components, assemblies, and robot modules to ensure compliance with drawings and technical specifications.
Collaborate with design and manufacturing teams to identify root causes of defects and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
Track, record, and analyze defect data; propose measures to improve product quality and assembly processes.
Inspect components and products from suppliers or outsourced manufacturers.
Establish criteria and procedures for functional, safety, and reliability testing of prototype robots.
Manage inspection records, defect reports, quality evaluation documents, and traceability data.
Support internal training on defect identification, technical standards, inspection procedures, and quality improvement.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations, technical standards, and 5S principles in production areas.
QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical/Electronics, Mechatronics, Automation, Quality Management, or related fields.
At least 5 years of experience in quality inspection and control for electromechanical products, robots, or automated equipment.
Proficient in quality control and defect analysis tools: FMEA, 8D, Fishbone, Pareto, SPC, MSA.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, tolerance standards, and inspection procedures.
Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and functional testing methods.
Detail-oriented, analytical, with strong communication and teamwork skills.
Preferred:
Experience in prototype development projects, robot assembly, or high-tech product manufacturing.
