The QHSE department covers aspects of Quality, Health, Safety, Sustainability and Environment throughout the organisation. The international team consists of multiple disciplines: compliance, continuous improvement, QHSE engineering, quality control, regulatory and quality assurance.
The department supports the on- and offshore organisation with the implementation and improvement of a multi-faceted management system (Allseas Integrated Management System, AIMS). The system encompasses a safety management component (International Safety Management, ISM), a component for product quality management (ISO
9001) and a component for environmental management (ISO
14001).
- Safety & Sustainability: we always work in a way to remain in operational control, by removing safety hazards, reducing carbon emissions and operating sustainably;
- Continuous improvement: we actively provide feedback and input for cooperation, standards, working methods and guidelines, keep professional and interpersonal skills and knowledge up to date, take time for project close‑out and implement lessons learnt;
- Quality: assure correct control of the quality of work performed.
- A degree in a relevant field, such as maritime studies or marine engineering.
- 3‑5 years of seagoing experience or 3‑5 years of other relevant work experience supplemented with training in ISM Code, ISPS Code and MLC.
- Certified auditor for ISM, ISPS and MLC standards.
Experience in auditing and maintaining QHSE management systems.
- Have affinity with and a working knowledge of QHSE management systems.
- Have good analytical skills, weigh aspects of issues against each other.
- Make decisions independently.
- Show initiative and be creative in your own scope.
- Connect and interact with others in a positive and empathic manner, taking the circumstances into account.
- Organise work effectively, independently, on own initiative and support team members.
- Monitor and report progress.
