Aquaport Front Desk Cashier

Overview

The City of Maryland Heights is accepting applications for the Front Desk Cashier Attendant at Aquaport, its seasonal outdoor aquatic facility, for the 2026 season. The schedule is varied and will include evenings, weekends, and holidays. No experience needed — we will train you! Individuals hired for this position must pass a pre-employment drug test and a background check. This position also requires individuals to be vaccinated for Hepatitis A due to the oversight of concessions.

The starting pay for this position is $15.40 per hour. Training is typically offered beginning in April, with normal hours commencing mid-May through Labor Day.

Provide a safe environment for patrons of the City’s aquatic facilities by following standard admission practices, taking in daily admissions fees, and accurately recording those fees in Square software. Applicants should have excellent computer, math, and customer service skills. Front Desk Cashier Attendants may be asked to assist Aquatics staff with operational features of the facility. Additional duties may be assigned on an as-needed basis.

• Must be available for pre-season site-specific training, including certifications, facility safety, and emergency action plan orientation, scheduling, and site-specific policies and procedures
