Our team is looking for the right customer service representative to join our Certified Cat Friendly Practice in fulfilling our ongoing mission of helping cats live longer, happier, healthier lives. We believe that our feline companions are unique animals with distinctive needs and that it is both our obligation and our privilege to provide all diagnostic, medical and surgical procedures in a manner that minimizes distress, anxiety, discomfort and suffering.

Responsibilities

Job duties include:

  • Management of multiple telephone lines and email correspondence in a fast-paced environment
  • Maintaining engaging client relationships through empathy, compassion, and understanding
  • Admitting and discharging clients and patients
  • Documenting client communications and medical record entries
  • Invoicing clients and handling cash and card payments
  • Maintaining a clean, safe work environment

Requirements and Opportunities

Previous veterinary practice experience is not required for the right personality! Compensation is dependent on experience. This is a great opportunity for an individual already passionate about cats or for one eager to learn the nuance and complexity of feline medicine.

Compensation
  • Base hourly rate of $19.00 - $24.00
  • Eligible for periodic bonus (where applicable)
Schedule
  • 8 hour shift, 30-40 hours per week
  • Monday to Friday, some Saturdays
