Seasonal Camp Host

Job Title: Seasonal Camp Host (Two-Person Team)
Location: On-site at local park (RV/Camper Required)
Schedule: Variable shifts between 8:00 a.m. – 10:00 p.m., including weekends and holidays
Compensation: $15.00/hour per person + free campsite with utilities

We are seeking a reliable and friendly two-person team to serve as Seasonal Camp Hosts during the upcoming camping season. This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy working together in an outdoor environment and are comfortable living on-site in a self-contained RV or camper provided by the team.

As Camp Hosts, you’ll represent the Parks Department and serve as the on-site point of contact for visitors—providing assistance, collecting fees, and helping maintain a welcoming, safe campground atmosphere. A full hook-up campsite is provided at no cost, and both individuals will be paid hourly for scheduled hours worked.

• Greet and assist campers and park visitors in a courteous, professional manner
• Collect camping and day-use fees as needed
• Provide information on park rules, amenities, and local attractions
• Monitor campground activity and report maintenance or safety issues
• Help maintain the cleanliness and order of campground facilities
• Work assigned shifts between 8:00 a.m. and 10:00 p.m., including weekends, holidays, and occasional split shifts

• Must apply as a two-person team
  —both individuals will be scheduled and compensated
• Must provide your own self-contained RV or camper and reside on-site for the duration of the season
• Ability to work independently and cooperatively with your teammate
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Prior experience in customer service, hospitality, or parks preferred but not required

Additional Details: Each team member will be paid $15.00/hour for scheduled shifts. A free campsite with utilities is provided for the duration of the assignment. This is a seasonal role, with start and end dates determined by the camping calendar.
