Starting Salary $15.00 per hour

North Pointe Aquatic Center

Responsible for safety, cleanliness and organization of The North Pointe Aquatic Center by enforcing rules and maintaining a clean environment.

• Reports directly to the Aquatic Specialist/Head Lifeguard/Pool Manager/Concession Manager
• Managing cleanliness of the concession area by emptying garbage, wiping tables, sweeping pool deck
• Acts as a birthday party attendant by cleaning pavilion, setting up for parties, and providing the parties with their food/beverages
• Maintaining safe and proper usage of the lazy river including enforcing rules and regulations, organizing and handling lazy river equipment
• Attends New Employee Orientation and mid-summer training
• Notifies supervisors of hazardous areas and repairs needed in a timely manner
• Is well groomed at all times. Wear city issued uniforms at all times while working and maintain a professional appearance and attitude
• Continually practices quality customer service. This includes staff/customer interaction and cleanliness and the condition of North Pointe
• Role model of the City of Ballwin Parks and Recreation policies, procedures, and mission statement

• Must be at least 14 years of age by May 18, 2026
• Must be able to lift 25 lbs. objects
• Maintain a professional and mature attitude toward responsibilities, fellow staff and patrons
• Work effectively with supervisors, co-workers and the public
• Must be available to work May 18, 2026 - September 7, 2026 including nights, weekends, and holidays

Staff shirt and visor, swimsuit, khaki or dark-colored shorts, sunglasses, sunscreen, and appropriate footwear.

• Must be a minimum of 14 years of age and cannot exceed 15 years of age
• Ability to work in extreme weather conditions
• Ability to develop and maintain a professional working relationship with parents and children involved with the programs
• The perfect candidate must demonstrate a character that is conducive to the City of Ballwin Parks and Recreation mission statement
