SSM Health Neurosciences is seeking a full-time Neurology Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join a collegial, patient-focused team at SSM Health St. Mary's Hospital – St. Louis
. This well-established practice includes three neurologists and one advanced practitioner and offers a strong balance of autonomy, mentorship, and work-life integration.
SSM Health St. Mary's Hospital is a two-time Premier Award for Quality recipient and has earned The Joint Commission's Gold Seal of Approval&174; for Acute Heart Attack Ready Certification
. Centrally located in metro St. Louis, the hospital is a Level III Time Critical Diagnosis STEMI Center
, certified stroke center, and offers comprehensive imaging and outpatient services ensuring exceptional support for both patients and providers.
- Predominantly outpatient-focused neurology practice with patient follow-up visits
- Inpatient coverage as needed (no routine inpatient requirement)
- Support with medication refills, infusions, MyChart messaging, and patient triage
- Monday–Friday, 8:00 am–4:30 pm schedule
- No nights, weekends, or call
- Strong onboarding, mentorship, and collaborative physician partnership
- Mission-driven, patient-centered culture within SSM Health Neurosciences
- Master's degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program
- Missouri RN & APRN licensure (NP) or certified Physician Assistant
- Neurology experience preferred (newer APPs with strong interest encouraged to apply)
