Responsibilities

Opened in 2010, Palmdale Regional Medical Center is a 184‑bed acute care hospital located in Palmdale, CA. One of Southern California’s newest hospitals and featuring all‑private patient rooms, it provides high‑quality, award‑winning patient care to residents and visitors of the Antelope Valley and surrounding areas. The hospital is active in the community, regularly participates with the Antelope Valley Board of Trade/Greater Antelope Valley Economic Alliance (now AV Edge), and other civic and governmental groups.

Palmdale Regional recently joined the newly created regional brand, Southwest Healthcare, a comprehensive network of care that incorporates five hospitals in the southern California region and includes multiple convenient ambulatory locations serving many communities. With more than 7,000 skilled and talented care providers across the region, the shared goal is to provide convenient access to a wide range of healthcare services.

Position description:
Provides safe, competent nursing care for patients in accordance with facility policies, standards, and philosophy. Provides professional leadership and support to the healthcare team. All nursing care is grounded in the concepts of Patient Centered Care and a commitment to Service Excellence standards at all times.

• Prefer one year full‑time or three years part‑time experience in an acute care setting.
• Graduate of an accredited or NLN‑approved RN program.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) – current on hire.
• Current state nursing license.
• PALS or NRP – current or obtained within 90 days of employment in required specialty.
• Cardiopulmonary Instructor (CPI) – required within 30 days of hire.
