Registered Nurse (RN) - Orthopedics
3/4 Weekend Option
Location: Mercy Hospital South - 10010 Kennerly Road St. Louis, MO 63128
Schedule: Full-Time | 36 hrs/week (0.9 FTE)
Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM;
Work 3 out of every 4 weekends within a 4-week scheduling period
Weekend Option Differential: $15.00 per hour in addition to base pay and any applicable shift differentials
Sign-On Bonus- Experienced Nurses: Up to $10,000
- New Graduate Nurses (less than 1 year of experience): Up to $5,000
Education: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with one of the following:
- Associate Degree in Nursing
- Nursing Diploma
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
Licensure: Must hold and maintain a current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Missouri or possess compact licensure, in accordance with state board of nursing regulations.
Experience: Previous hospital experience is preferred and may be required depending on the unit.
Certifications:
- Required:
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association, or completion within 30 days of hire.
- Education:
BSN preferred - Licensure:
Additional state licensure or specialty certifications preferred - Experience:
Prior experience in specialty area or similar clinical setting
- Ability to push, pull, and lift up to 50 lbs regularly
- Prolonged standing and walking throughout the shift
- Ability to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat as needed to perform nursing duties
