The Registered Nurse is responsible for managing the care of patients experiencing medical conditions or surgical procedures. The nurse must be able to assess the patient’s condition, administer medications, change dressings, monitor vital signs, keep records, and provide patients and families with support and education. The Registered Nurse maintains a wide array of medical knowledge to care for a diverse group of patients.
Education- Required:
Graduate of an accredited nursing program or NLN approved program - Preferred:
Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing
- Preferred:
Previous nursing experience
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Effective leadership abilities
- Valuable time management skills
- Strong critical thinking/problem solving skills
- Flexibility and ability to work in a multi‑tasking environment
- Required:
RN license active in the state of Missouri - Must obtain ENPC within 24 months of hire
- ENPC is required to be Primary RN for emergent pediatric care. RN will not be Primary RN if certification lapses.
- TNCC must be obtained within 18 months of hire
- TNCC is required to be Primary RN in trauma care. RN will not be Primary RN if certification lapses.
