Overview
Find your calling at Mercy! Assists Managers in the supervision of nursing unit and other department activities. Acts as a clinical and administrative resource for staff. Represent Administration when they are not here. Serves as the Patient Placement supervisor with all admissions going through them and being placed to the right division. Monitor ED throughput with every patient. Oversees the staffing of each inpatient nursing unit based on census, acuity and staffing grids.
Adjusts staffing accordingly. Maintains patient rights and confidentiality of patient information. Performs duties and responsibilities in a manner consistent with our mission, values, and Mercy Service Standards.
- Assist Managers in supervising nursing unit and other department activities.

- Represent Administration when Administration staff are not available.
- Serve as the Patient Placement supervisor with all admissions going through them and being placed to the right division.
- Monitor ED throughput for every patient.

- Education:
Completion of accredited nursing program - Licensure:
Currently licensed in the State of Missouri as a Registered Nurse - Experience:
Three to five years hospital nursing experience - Certification/Registration: BLS and ACLS prior to completing orientation
