Overview
Clinical Supervisor Nursing - Med Surg Tele (MST III) position located at Corona Regional Medical Center in Corona, CA.
This is a Part-time/Varied shift position.
ResponsibilitiesThe Nursing Supervisor is responsible for assisting the Department Director in providing overall leadership and direction for the units or areas of responsibility, and for creating an environment that fosters collaboration among the team to achieve operational and clinical excellence. This will be achieved through the following activities:
Works collaboratively with physicians to develop methods for improving the quality of care; works collaboratively with department leadership to achieve quality, fiscal and patient experience goals and expectations.
The tradition of caring that culminated in the establishment of Corona Regional Medical Center began in 1965, with the founding of Corona Community Hospital. Since that time the hospital has changed to meet the needs of the rapidly growing community. Corona Community Hospital merged with Circle City Medical Center in 1992 and the resulting entity became Corona Regional Medical Center. The merged hospitals are now a 238-bed community hospital network comprised of a 160-bed acute care hospital and a 78-bed rehabilitation campus.
It is certified by The Joint Commission, employs more than 1,250 trained healthcare workers and has a medical staff of approximately 347 physicians representing more than 40 specialties.

Minimum Essential Experience:
- Two years of recent department specific experience required
- Two years of experience working as an RN; OR with the approval of the CNO, one year of experience working as an RN plus one year experience working in a supervisory/manager position in a healthcare organization (department specific charge nurse or supervisory experience preferred)
Minimum Essential Education:
- Basic EKG/tele interpretation experience required OR completing a Basic EKG class within six months of employment
- BSN preferred
Required Licensure / Certifications:
- Registered Nurse with current California RN license
- Current BLS certification through the American Heart Association
