Overview
Registered Nurse (RN) PACU/Cath Lab
Part-time/Days position located at Corona Regional Medical Center (CRMC) in Corona, CA
Reporting to the Director of Surgical Services, the Recovery Room Registered Nurse receives patients from the Operating Room and other ancillary departments. Monitors vital signs and makes necessary interventions as prescribed, within the scope of nursing by the surgeon or anesthesiologist. May also assist in transporting patients to outpatient surgery and surgical floors. Assists with monitoring IV sedation and local anesthesia cases in the Operating Room.
Able to provide competent care for patients throughout the life span, from infancy through geriatric.

ResponsibilitiesResponsibilities include:
- Receive patients from the Operating Room and other departments.
- Monitor vital signs and intervene as prescribed within nursing scope.
- Assist with patient transport to outpatient surgery and surgical floors.
- Assist with IV sedation and local cases in the Operating Room.

MINIMUM ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE
- One year Critical Care or PACU experience or basic Coronary Care Class with hemodynamic experience required.
- Age-specific education and/or experience.
REQUIRED LICENSURE / CERTIFICATIONS
- Current CA Registered Nurse license required.
- Current BLS (CPR), ACLS and PALS certificate required.
