HHC - Registered Nurse - Days

Apply to the HHC - Registered Nurse - Days role at the State of Missouri and join the Higginsville Habilitation Center, a state operated program within the Department of Mental Health. The Center offers support to individuals with developmental disabilities 24/7.

Must have knowledge of current professional nursing theory, practices and standards. Ability to administer detailed therapeutic prescriptions under general professional supervision. Ability to supervise, evaluate and instruct professional nursing staff.

• Provide oversight and direct medical support to individuals with developmental disabilities who live at HHC.
• Oversee the medical needs of individuals in collaboration with the PCP and the individual’s support team.
• Communicate with internal and external team members and participate in the individual’s planning process.
• Supervise LPNs.

• Licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of Missouri.
• Lack of post‑secondary education will not be used as the sole basis denying consideration to any applicant.

Scheduled to work 6:00 am – 6:30 pm. Alternate 36‑hour and 48‑hour weeks, with rotating weekends and holidays.
