HHC - Registered Nurse - Days
Apply to the HHC - Registered Nurse - Days role at the State of Missouri and join the Higginsville Habilitation Center, a state operated program within the Department of Mental Health. The Center offers support to individuals with developmental disabilities 24/7.
Must have knowledge of current professional nursing theory, practices and standards. Ability to administer detailed therapeutic prescriptions under general professional supervision. Ability to supervise, evaluate and instruct professional nursing staff.
Responsibilities- Provide oversight and direct medical support to individuals with developmental disabilities who live at HHC.
- Oversee the medical needs of individuals in collaboration with the PCP and the individual’s support team.
- Communicate with internal and external team members and participate in the individual’s planning process.
- Supervise LPNs.
- Licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of Missouri.
- Lack of post‑secondary education will not be used as the sole basis denying consideration to any applicant.
Scheduled to work 6:00 am – 6:30 pm. Alternate 36‑hour and 48‑hour weeks, with rotating weekends and holidays.
