Minimum Experience:
2 years Med-Surg RN experience Certifications
Required:
BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, PALS Charting System:
Meditech (experience highly preferred) Medication System:
McKesson Unit Details Unit Type:
Med-Surg (includes 24 MS/Tele beds) Total Beds: 39 Patient Ratio: 1:6 Patient Acuity:
No acute cardiac patients; primarily pacemakers, monitoring, potassium management Telemetry:
Basic tele experience preferred, not required Floating May float to other Med-Surg units within scope of practice Scrubs Color:
Royal Blue (not provided) Call-Off Policy Facility may call off 1 shift per 4 weeks worked (rare) Old Notes (for Reference) Previously allowed submission without ACLS & NIHSS (to be obtained during placement at no cost) ACLS is now required for all Med-Surg travelers
