Higginsville Habilitation Center is recruiting for Registered Nurses, to be a part of a highly effective team that makes a difference in the lives of adults with developmental disabilities. HHC is a state operated program within the Department of Mental Health and supports individuals receiving 24/7 services.

Must have knowledge of current professional nursing theory, practices and standards. Ability to administer detailed therapeutic prescriptions under general professional supervision. Ability to supervise, evaluate and instruct professional nursing staff.

• Will provide oversight and direct medical support to the individuals with developmental disabilities who live at HHC.
• Responsible for overseeing the medical needs of individuals in collaboration with the PCP and the individual’s support team.
• RNs communicate with internal and external team members and participate in the individual’s planning process.
• Will supervise LPNs.

• Licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of Missouri.
• Lack of post‑secondary education will not be used as the sole basis denying consideration to any applicant.

Scheduled to work 6:00 pm – 6:30 am. You will work alternating 36‑hour and 48‑hour weeks, with rotating weekends and holidays.
