Tribe Rising India | Mill Valley, CA

Tribe Rising India is a Mill Valley–based nonprofit expanding access to education for Santal children in West Bengal, India. Through long‑term partnerships and community‑centered programs, we are creating sustainable educational pathways and generational change.

We seek a seasoned, relationship‑driven development professional (80–90 hours per month) to grow and strengthen our individual and major gift program.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys both strategic thinking and hands‑on execution, and who is motivated by meaningful, mission‑driven work.

• Build and manage a portfolio of individual and major donors
• Develop and execute strategic cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship plans
• Partner with the President and Board to expand high‑capacity donor relationships
• Support fundraising events, including the annual gala
• Contribute to compelling donor communications and impact reporting

• Several years of nonprofit fundraising experience
• Demonstrated success securing major gifts
• Strong relationship builder and communicator
• Familiar with the Bay Area philanthropic landscape
• Passionate about educational equity
• Connection to Indian culture a plus
• Comfortable working within Catholic/Jesuit social justice values

• $5,000 per month
• 80–90 hours per month (flexible schedule)
