Performance Marketing Manager to lead and evolve our paid media efforts. This is a full-time contract position ideal for someone who thrives on both high-level strategy and daily execution and is excited to help meaningful books reach the readers who need them.
- Own strategy, execution, and optimization of all digital ad campaigns across platforms,including Meta, Tik Tok, Reddit, Quora, Amazon, Google, and emerging channels
- Identify and test new advertising opportunities in niche communities and content platforms aligned with our core audiences
- Manage eBook pricing promotions in collaboration with our sales and marketing teams, including promotion planning, ad campaigns, and performance reporting
- Oversee trade advertising strategy, placements, and creative in alignment with publishing goals
- Manage andoptimizeour affiliate program in coordination with internal stakeholders, with a focus on performance, efficiency, and alignment with broader paid media strategy
- Collaborate with internal and freelance creatives on developing ad assets, especially short-form and video content
- Monitor budgets and campaign performance; regularly test and iterate on creative, targeting, and spend to improve ROI
- Report on key performance metrics and contribute insights to guide broader marketing strategy
- Stay current on platform tools and trends, and bringnew ideasfor innovation and improvement
- Success in this role will be measured by revenue impact, efficiency improvements, and clear, actionable performance insights shared with the broader marketing team
- Demonstrated experience managing digital ad campaigns across multiple platforms
- Comfort with budget management, performance data, and testing strategies
- Strong creative judgment for compelling ad assets and a deep understanding of audience engagement
- Familiarity with short-form video content and platform-native creative tools
- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset
- Strong organizational and planning skills, with attention to detail
- Knowledge of or interest in publishing, psychology, or self-help content a plus
- Experience marketing content, education, or mission-driven products a plus
