The Maintenance Mechanic installs, maintains, repairs and troubleshoots all industrial equipment within the refinery using standard mechanical tools associated with tasks.
DETAILED ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES- Installs, maintains, repairs and troubleshoots all industrial equipment within the refinery such as pumps, valves, conveyors, screw conveyors, drives, conveyor elevators, centrifugals, and other closely aligned mechanical devices using equipment such as cutters, dies, heating torch, welding, brazing, drill motors, wrenches, hoists etc.
- Works in a safe manner following all refinery safety requirements
- A minimum of 3 years of experience working in maintenance or in a mechanical position in an industrial or related setting.
- High School Diploma or Equivalent required
Candidate must have the ability to:
- Lift up to 50lbs
- Use hands and arms to reach, push, pull, lift, carry, and manipulate materials and tools
- Walk, stand, stoop, kneel, crouch, stoop, crawl, and climb constantly throughout the shift
- Reach, bend, twist, rotate, push and pull frequently
- Work in confined spaces
- Work independently as well as a team player
- Climb up and down ladders
- Ability to work rotating shifts, weekends, holidays, and overtime
- Must be able to perform tasks wearing required PPE such as but not limited to protective footwear, clothing, safety glasses/goggles, etc.

Starting Rate:$38.00
