Overview

Element Resources is hiring in Forest City, Missouri! $2,500 sign‑on bonus! Pay ranges between $30.20 and $35.19 per hour, depending on experience.

Shift A:
Sunday - Tuesday, every other Wednesday; 6:50 am to 6:50 pm.

Shift B:
Thursday - Saturday, every other Wednesday; 6:50 am to 6:50 pm.

Eligible to earn an attendance bonus of 8.4% of wages, paid weekly (nearly $2.00 per hour).

Additional bonus opportunities available! Eligible for 3 floating holidays after a 60‑day probationary period and 6 additional holidays during the calendar year.

Element provides an essential supply of recycled products to America’s battery manufacturers to produce high‑quality, top‑performing batteries that power cars, trucks, and forklifts—vital to keeping the country’s supply chain running.

Proven mechanical/electrical aptitude in a processing/furnace environment. Excellent communication skills to assume responsibility of the maintenance function. Will provide guidance and repair for maintenance operations by shift in a 24/7 union environment.

Responsibilities
  • Repair and maintain all of the plant electrical systems.
  • Repair and upkeep of all plant metal surfaces.
  • Work with plant engineers on installation of new electrical systems.
  • Inspect and calibrate equipment.
  • Maintain inventory and order electrical supplies and equipment.
  • Communicate with Breaker, Refining, Maintenance, QA/lab, and other departments to ensure continual process.
  • Install, maintain, troubleshoot and repair pumps, conveyors, gearboxes, flue pipes, water lines, and hydraulic systems.
  • Install, maintain and repair all piping in the facility.
  • Install, maintain and repair valves, hoses, fittings, bearings, gauges and meters in the facility.
  • Weld and repair all metal units in the facility.
  • Fabricate equipment and parts.
Qualifications
  • High degree of welding experience, electrical knowledge, and mechanical aptitude.
  • Maintain PLCs, control circuits, and primary power.
  • Ability to organize and plan workflow.
  • Good written and oral communication skills.
  • Computer skills.
  • Certification in the use of the following mobile equipment (training will be provided if necessary):
    • Crane
    • Forklift
    • Loader
    • Manlift
