PRIMARY FUNCTION
:
Assembles custom built wire harnesses and control box modules by interpreting blue print specifications, using hand tools and precision measuring instruments. Reports to the Production Foreman and is responsible for consistent and efficient workmanship in a team-based environment, meeting customer deadlines with quality finished products.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
In-Shop and In-Field Responsibilities
Build production control boxes to blueprints, maintaining efficiency standards.Build production wire harnesses to blueprints, maintaining efficiency standards.Work closely with the engineering department for revision changes and component changes.Design wire harnesses to function with prototype electrical generators.Utilize wire cutting, stripping, crimping, and soldering tools to assemble products.Verify parts clearances to spec, verifying conformance of parts to stock lists and blueprints.Inspect and troubleshoot electrical circuits, harnesses, and control boxes using a digital multimeter tool.Complete all timekeeping requirements to track labor in jobs.Complete all quality control paperwork per job as directed.Notify the production foreman upon completion of assembly.Adhere to the assembly process in place while maintaining a safe and clean work environment.Other responsibilities as designated by and at the discretion of management.Benefits for YOU

Minimum Education and Work Experience
High School Diploma or GED required. An electrical technical school certificate or related field such as Automotive/Diesel Technology preferred.Minimum of two (2) years of electrical assembly experience preferred.PERSONAL AND PROFESSIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES/CHARACTERISTICS
A good working knowledge of equipment operations and mechanical functions.Strong diagnostic skills.Strong attention to detail.Able to consistently repair and assemble components and equipment.Strong electrical knowledge.Good communication skills.Good, safe work habits.Our Company is an equal opportunity employer.
