Quality Control Supervisor

The ideal candidate is an individual who is comfortable in a manufacturing environment and able to communicate across multiple levels including operators and higher management.

• The 2nd shift Quality Control Supervisor is responsible for quality monitoring of the second and third shift manufacturing activities.
• 75%:
  This includes leading the inspectors, handling of non-conforming products, and establishing and training on rework procedures
• 25%:
  This includes monitoring and supporting production operators in Injection Molding and Milling areas.

• The Quality Control Supervisor reports directly to the Quality Manager.
• This role interacts daily with production, planning, warehousing, and distribution.

• Supervise the quality control inspectors in the assigned shifts, which includes handling all personnel and policies.
• Supervise the Injection Molding operators and Metals employees in the assigned shifts, which includes handling all personnel and policies.
• Ensure teams follow established rules for handling quality control issues; these rules are meant to address quality issues in a timely manner.
• Coordinate control of product during inspection and disposition.
• Assign work to employees and oversee schedules under the guidance of the QA Manager.
• Train new employees in the quality control department on proper testing procedures and safety habits.
• Handle day-to-day quality assurance activities during manufacturing and inspection of products.
• Offer feedback on procedures and recommend improvements to management.
• When applicable, implement testing procedures as outlined by manager and according to industry standards.
