Role Description
Lowell Manufacturing is seeking a full-time Maintenance Technician to join our team at our Pacific, MO facility. This on-site role is responsible for supporting production operations through effective equipment maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair activities.
The Maintenance Technician will report directly to the Maintenance Supervisor and play a key role in maintaining equipment reliability, minimizing downtime, and supporting production efficiency. The role requires strong mechanical aptitude, a hands-on mindset, and the ability to work collaboratively across departments.
Responsibilities- Perform routine, preventive, and corrective maintenance on production and facility equipment
- Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues
- Execute on-site maintenance activities in support of production work orders and meet established work-order completion rates
- Accurately document maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections within the maintenance system
- Support and manage maintenance-related KPIs (Key Performance Indicators) and contribute to CMMC-related maintenance controls, as applicable
- Assist in developing, improving, and executing a continuous improvement plan for maintenance operations
- Ensure compliance with safety requirements, company policies, and applicable ISO maintenance infrastructure standards
- Participate in equipment upgrades, installations, and process improvements
- Collaborate effectively with production, engineering, quality, and safety teams to support plant objectives
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Proven experience in equipment maintenance and industrial maintenance
- Strong troubleshooting skills and hands-on experience with preventive maintenance programs
- Experience performing maintenance and repair on manufacturing machinery and industrial equipment
- Solid mechanical aptitude with basic working knowledge of:
- Electrical systems
- Hydraulics and pneumatics
- Mechanical components and power transmission
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and mechanical drawings
- Strong problem-solving, critical thinking, and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently while also functioning effectively as part of a team
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Technical certifications, vocational training, or apprenticeship experience preferred
- Prior experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment strongly preferred
