Agronomy Operations Manager

Job Description

Gpac is partnered with a leader in the Ag business is looking to hire an Agronomy Operations Manager to oversee the operation and maintenance of the dry plant operation. This position offers a competitive compensation package including a base salary, bonuses, and healthcare.

Responsibilities:

• Leads and directs personnel of Dry Plant Operations
• Maximizes efficiency of Plant Operations to reduce downtime
• Develop SOPs for Plant Operations
• Achieve goals as set by location and company
• Assist agronomists with mapping, fertility, record keeping, recommendations, and soil sampling procedures
• Maintain great communication and teamwork among the operation

Requirements:

• 2+ years management in Ag business, supply management, or procurement
• Working knowledge of industrial or farm products/services
• Must be able to maintain and develop relationships with customers
• Self-motivated, ability to work independently and with a team
• Basic computer skills related to custom application
• Valid Class A CDL (or ability to obtain)
