Job Title: General assembly

Reports to: Production manager

Job Description: Assist in all aspects of the production and repair of Luggage Works luggage.

• Develop proficiency in steps needed to produce and repair metal and plastic framed luggage.
• Demonstrate proficiency with job tools such as air drill, hand drill, drill press and rivet guns.
• Communicate with other positions on the assembly line to ensure maximum speed and accuracy.
• Communicate with supervisor about any parts or equipment defects and assist with problem resolution.
• Follow instructions to ensure safety of the entire team.
• Assemble parts used in production process such as handles, frames, wheel assemblies.

• Experience with common hand and power tools.
• Ability to commit to flexible schedule and prompt arrival for shifts.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Capable of lifting up to 25 pounds regularly.
• Capable of lifting up to 50 pounds occasionally.

• Only full-time employees eligible.

Typical hours are 6am to 2pm Monday through Friday.
