What We DoVanguard Conversion and Fulfillment (VCF) is a premier third‑party converting and fulfillment company, providing custom slitting, laminating, sheeting, and printing solutions for B2B and B2C clients across various industries.
What You’ll Be DoingAs a Machine Operator 1, you will perform basic machine setup, operation, and quality checks to support daily conversion and packaging of products in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment.
Basic Machine Operation- Set up and operate entry‑level machines according to standard operating procedures.
- Load materials, monitor production output, and make minor adjustments to maintain continuous operation.
- Ensure materials are labeled, stored, and used appropriately.
- Inspect materials and finished products for obvious defects and notify supervisor of irregularities.
- Perform basic measurements and visual checks to ensure products meet specifications.
- Maintain a clean work area to prevent contamination or damage to materials.
- Follow all safety protocols, wear required PPE, and report unsafe conditions.
- Comply with operational procedures and quality guidelines.
- Attend training sessions and participate in safety meetings as required.

- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous manufacturing or warehouse experience is a plus but not required.
- Basic mechanical aptitude and ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
- Commitment to safety and teamwork.
- Ability to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, sit, climb, or balance as required.
- Regularly lift and/or move up to 30 pounds; occasionally up to 50 pounds with assistance.
Auburn Hills, MI – $19.00–$25.00 per hour
