Manual Machinist – Ergonomic Partners

We are looking for a manual machinist to join our custom design shop for operator‑assisted lifting devices. The ideal candidate will operate and maintain manual machine tools such as lathes, milling machines, grinders, and drill presses, read and interpret blueprints and drawings, and use precision measuring instruments to ensure quality and accuracy.

• Operate manual machine tools such as lathes, milling machines, and grinders.
• Read and interpret blueprints, sketches, and diagrams.
• Perform basic troubleshooting and maintenance on equipment.
• Set up and adjust machines to ensure accuracy and quality of work.
• Perform quality checks on finished products.
• Account for material inventory and order more when necessary.
• Possible operation of CNC equipment.

• Prior work experience as a machinist on a manual lathe and Bridgeport style machine.
• Can hold a tolerance of +/- .001.
• Self‑motivated with a drive to complete tasks on time and learn new skills.
• Quality driven and safety focused.
• Exposure or experience with CNC equipment is a plus.

• Prolonged periods standing and performing tasks.
• Must be able to lift and move up to 50 pounds at a time.
• Ability to frequently walk, climb, kneel, bend, reach overhead, push, pull, and use a ladder or stool.
• Frequently exposed to heat, cold, and noise.
• Must have manual dexterity in order to produce parts or components.
• Must wear proper personal protective equipment (PPE).

Pay: $19.00 - $23.00 per hour
