Pultrusion Operator - 1st Shift at Hubbell Gas Utility Solutions (HGUS)

Location:

Centralia, MO

• Set-up, operate, and adjust machines and equipment in order to produce a good quality product. Examples of machines and equipment include, but are not limited to, pultrusion, saw, doweling machine, and other departmental equipment.
• Process activities may include inspecting, sanding, mixing, sawing, testing, and processing.
• May perform visual and manual inspections, record production, record scrap, maintain required production records, and perform other operations as required.
• May operate more than one machine at a time.
• Interpret drawings and routing sheets and perform SPC as required.
• Maintain machines, equipment and the work area in a clean and orderly manner.
• Ensure that any hazardous waste generated is properly packaged and labeled before removal from the area.

• Ability to sit and/or stand and perform repetitive work for a minimum of eight hours.
• Ability to walk, hear, see and have full use of both hands.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs. from floor to waist and waist to floor.
• Ability to climb.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs. from waist to shoulder and carry a distance of 10 feet.
• Ability to lift in excess of 65 lbs.
• Ability to move 50 lbs. by using a two-wheel dolly.
• These physical requirements are generalities and work may occasionally exceed the specified levels.
