We  seeking skilled Header Operators to join our team onsite in City of Industry, CA, offering up to $60 per hour and a potential sign-on bonus for qualified candidates. Both 1st and 2nd shifts are available, giving you flexibility in your schedule. JOB SUMMARY:

Set up and operate multi-die headers for manufacturing precision aircraft quality fasteners.

Essential Duties, Responsibilities and

Competencies:

• Reads and interprets documents (blueprints, drawings, or manufacturing work orders) to ascertain tools and materials necessary for producing parts to precision tolerance to aircraft specification.
• Sets up and operates, on a production basis, all assigned headers and related products with required settings and adjustments to produce parts to specifications.
• Loads machines with raw material and monitors production run using measuring devices such as comparators, micrometers, calipers and various other inspect gauges.
• Reworks and directs reworking of tooling as needed.
• Keeps accurate statistical process control (SPC) records on each job manufactured and makes adjustments during production as directed by SPC data.
• Meets and maintains productivity and quality requirements to support departmental goals and schedules.
• Provides training to departmental personnel for all aspects of machine setup and operation.
• Performs minor preventative maintenance on assigned machines.
• Performs record keeping, data entry, housekeeping, and follows safety regulations.
• On-site requirement:
  This role is based at the City of Industry, CA location and must be on-site 5 days.

Qualifications

Education and/or

Experience:

Experience in heading aircraft quality fasteners on multi-die machines required (4 and 5 die Progressive Header). High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred.

In compliance with all states and cities requiring transparency of pay, the expected pay range for this position is $35.00-$60.00 per hour.

Compensation can vary depending on several factors, including a candidate  qualifications, skills, experience, competencies, and geographic location. Some roles may qualify for extra incentives like equity, commissions, or other variable performance-related bonuses.
