Production Supervisor; Missouri

STS Technical Services is hiring a Production Supervisor in Wentzville, Missouri.

The Production Supervisor will supervise and coordinate the activities of production and operating workers. This role requires strong leadership skills, hands‑on problem solving, and the ability to drive improvements in production methods, equipment performance, and overall product quality.

• Recommend measures to motivate employees and improve production methods, equipment performance, product quality, and efficiency
• Review operations and confer with technical or administrative staff to resolve production or processing problems
• Develop and implement production tracking and quality control systems, analyzing data to detect and resolve production issues
• Hire, train, evaluate, and discharge staff while addressing and resolving personnel grievances
• Prepare and maintain production reports and personnel records

• Strong verbal communication skills, attention to detail, and problem‑solving abilities
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
• Knowledge of raw materials, production processes, quality control, and techniques for efficient manufacturing and distribution
• Knowledge of machines and tools, including their design, use, repair, and maintenance
• Understanding of design techniques, tools, and principles for precision technical plans, blueprints, drawings, and models

• High school diploma or GED required
• Associate degree in business or related field preferred
• 10 years of relevant experience required
