About Us

Moore Race Chassis is a small, family‑owned and operated business specializing in custom roll cages and chassis work. We are an industry leader in precision components and are committed to providing safe, high‑quality products for our customers. We’re looking for a hands‑on, details‑driven person to support design, development, and continuous improvement of our chassis and components, and to work closely with our production team on the shop floor.

Position

Summary

The Entry‑Level Chassis Design & fabrication Technician will be responsible for designing and improving products and processes related to roll cages, chassis, and precision components. Experience with NHRA/SFI Certifications would be greatly beneficial. This role requires strong technical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate with both office and shop personnel in a fast‑paced, project‑driven environment. This position will be a lot of hands‑on training as we have a very niche industry and require a very special skillset.

Your first year on the job would include a lot of one‑on‑one training with our current engineer to learn the technical requirements of designing a safe chassis and our other components. Precision is key to safety! In order to prevent a disconnect from the engineer and our fabrication team, some fabrication is required. You will also assist in the prototyping and testing of designs on the shop floor.
