Able to conduct laboratory tests, accurately enter data into work sheets, responsible, take ownership of projects assigned and take pride in job duties.  Should be able to lift 50lbs on a regular basis and feel comfortable working around equipment and forklift traffic.  Able to work any shift, weekday and weekends, outside weather conditions (extreme hot and cold) and inside conditions which consist of an extreme cold environment (refrigerated atmosphere 35-50 degrees) with little or no supervision.

Seasonal Lab Technician plays an important role in the coordination and testing of products for New Product Development and quality control of current products.  This includes testing ingredients, bench top batching, weighing ingredients, sensory evaluation, shelf life testing, and documentation.  Will be responsible for executing and/or coordinating laboratory tasks to enable the laboratory to function effectively while adhering to correct procedures and health and safety guidelines.
** Standard Pay Rate**- $18.00 an hour##

Job Description
* Test and analyze product data
* Work independently or with a team
* Perform product testing.
* Support new product development and quality control
* Ensure overall Good Laboratory Practices and cleanliness.
* Execute all assigned task and/or testing following current or proposed procedures.
* Keep up to date with technical developments and implement procedures/technologies which can save time and improve reliability.
* Assist in pilot trials and production trials
* Produce and analyze batch samples
* Taste and smell for quality control
* Problem solve
* Attention to details## Qualifications
* Strong organizational skills.
* Good communication skills.
* Proficient with Microsoft Office.
* Detail oriented.
* Prior experience/interaction with Food Industry/manufacturing standards.
* Should be able to lift 50lbs on a regular basis and feel comfortable working around equipment and forklift traffic.
