Location: West Lebanon

The Project Manager plans, budgets, oversees, and documents all aspects of a specific project(s) by employing a detailed and nuanced approach. The Project Manager ensures our customers have a world‑class experience by coordinating and harmonizing people and processes, using sound financial acumen, to ensure projects are within scope, delivered on time, and produce the desired results. Working with minimal direction and guidance, this role is a customer‑facing main point of contact and requires a positive and spirited image for DT Engineering.

  • 2. Stays abreast of advances in technology and in changes in the industries being served.
  • 3. Stays alert to changing customer needs, changes in industry trends, standards, and requirements.
  • 4. Works with the leadership team to define manpower requirements and for balancing evolving workloads and resource requirements.
  • 5. Leads assigned functional team members on the project team.
  • 6. Creates a positive and motivational team atmosphere. Employs a consistent, and infectious good attitude and demeanor with all parties.
  • 7. Prepares and reviews budgets and schedules for projects.
  • 8. Establish project integration meetings for all assigned projects; well prepared and thought out.
  • 9. Creates, monitors, and reports project level schedules, actual/projected financials, and time standards. Utilizing approved MRP and financial reports.
  • 10. Has the ultimate financial responsibility of the overall project, and the responsibility of leading and managing the efforts of functional personnel to complete the project tasks.
  • 11. Advises Director of FAS/TDS of any performance, schedule, or manning problems.
  • 12. Establishes a thorough understanding of the functional requirements of the concept, the customer specifications/considerations, the contract, and the quoted proposal.
  • 13. Participates in all design reviews on assigned projects and assures timely reviews take place, that all appropriate inputs are covered prior to and at the design reviews. Verifies that design review corrective actions have been completed and that all required design outputs have been completed.
  • 14. Participates in concurrent engineering efforts, soliciting value added input from team members and related staff, for new improved or more cost‑effective methods.
  • 15. Reviews with staff and project teams any variances from original design, preventing all unnecessary design effort or drawing changes on assigned projects.
  • 16. Complies with and assures team compliance with all appropriate standards and procedures. Assures that external sources, engineering support, or equipment complies with project and contract specifications, proposal, and internal procedures and standards.
  • 17. Responsible for monitoring and identifying customer or internally driven scope changes and takes the appropriate action to ensure compliance by all parties.
  • 18. Responsible for monitoring project actuals (labor and material) against project budgets. The PM will report these findings during the PSM meeting.
  • 19. Assures compliance with SOW, proposal, and customer specifications.
  • 20. Coordinates and confirms the completion of tasks assigned to the team.
  • 21. Assures all final documentation is up to date and change order closure issues are resolved.
  • 22. Gathers and documents post‑mortem assessments to identify areas for project improvements.
  • 23. It is the responsibility of all employees to be aware of DT Engineering’s quality policy, objectives, guiding principles and departmental work instructions to their position. All employees have a role in quality, and the performance of each employee directly impacts the financial goals of DT Engineering and customer satisfaction.
  • 25. The TDS Project Manager will also coordinate MRP and BOM activities for the TDS Business Unit.
  • Additional (Non‑Essential) Responsibilities
    • 1. Travels to customer (and supplier) locations as required and as necessary.
    • 2. Performs other duties as assigned.
