Worley is a global professional services company of energy, chemicals and resources experts. We partner with customers to deliver projects and create value over the life of their assets. We’re bridging two worlds, moving towards more sustainable energy sources, while helping to provide the energy, chemicals and resources needed now.

Purpose of the Role

You will be responsible for directing transportation operations that support a large construction workforce, ensuring craft personnel arrive safely, efficiently, and on schedule each day. This role provides leadership and coordination across off‑site parking facilities and bussing logistics to maintain the rhythm of daily site access and workforce mobilization.

You will oversee all off‑site parking and transportation operations, ensuring structured planning, manpower allocation, safety compliance, and logistical precision to support seamless project execution.

This role is critical in ensuring craft personnel arrive safely and on time to the project site each day, directly supporting productivity, schedule integrity, and overall workforce performance.

Core Responsibilities
  • Provide hands‑on leadership for all transportation and off‑site parking operations supporting craft mobilization.
  • Manage all off‑site parking facilities. The project currently operates four off‑site parking lots, with at least two additional lots anticipated to support workforce demands.
  • Oversee the planning, coordination, and daily logistics of loading and unloading craft personnel for bussing operations at each parking location.
  • Ensure bussing operations are safe, efficient, and aligned with project start times and shift schedules.
  • Supervise and manage craft support personnel assigned to off‑site parking and transportation operations.
  • Develop and maintain transportation plans that align with project workforce projections and construction sequencing.
  • Monitor manpower levels, bus utilization, staging efficiency, and overall transportation performance to maintain smooth daily operations.
  • Coordinate closely with construction management, superintendents, and HSE teams to ensure transportation plans support project milestones and site access protocols.
  • Ensure compliance with all HSE requirements across parking areas, loading zones, and bussing operations.
  • Identify opportunities to improve traffic flow, loading efficiency, safety controls, and overall workforce mobilization processes.
  • Support cost control efforts by tracking transportation resources, forecasting needs, and optimizing operational efficiency.
  • Communicate effectively across teams, resolving issues quickly and proactively to avoid delays in workforce arrival.
  • Troubleshoot logistical challenges and implement practical solutions to maintain uninterrupted site access.
What You’ll Bring to the Role
  • Approximately 10–15+ years of construction or industrial project experience, with prior supervisory or superintendent-level leadership.
  • Experience managing large workforce mobilization logistics, transportation coordination, or multi‑location operations.
  • Strong understanding of HSE practices, particularly as they relate to transportation safety, traffic control, and workforce movement.
  • Proven ability to lead field personnel and support staff in high‑volume, time‑sensitive environments.
  • Experience coordinating complex logistics involving multiple locations and large daily workforce counts.
  • Strong planning and organizational skills with the ability to anticipate operational challenges.
  • Ability to communicate clearly with field teams, bus drivers, craft personnel, and project leadership.
  • Conflict resolution skills and the ability to maintain professionalism in high‑pressure, fast‑paced situations.
  • A proactive, solutions‑oriented mindset focused on safety, punctuality, and operational reliability.
