The Vice President of Sales will be responsible for the West territory, including CA, WA, OR, NV, AZ, & TX. Candidates can be based in any of these states.
The Vice President of Sales is responsible for leading a high-performing direct sales organization and driving the overall go-to-market strategy and commercial results across the United States. This executive develops and executes strategic initiatives that drive market expansion, product adoption, revenue growth, and profitability.
The role provides strategic direction, leadership, and operational oversight to the sales organization to ensure achievement of business objectives. Through a collaborative and results-oriented leadership style, the Vice President fosters a strong team culture focused on performance, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Responsibilities- Recruit, develop, and retain a high-performing sales organization, continuously elevating team capability and performance.
- Lead and optimize the direct sales structure to support business growth and scalability.
- Establish and communicate a compelling vision and culture for the sales organization aligned with overall business strategy.
- Develop and execute sales strategies and plans to achieve and exceed revenue and profitability targets.
- Provide ongoing coaching, mentorship, and professional development to strengthen skills and institutionalize best practices.
- Design and implement effective compensation and incentive programs that drive performance and profitable growth.
- Define and enhance sales processes, systems, tools, and infrastructure to support efficient execution.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing and operations to align pricing, promotional strategies, channel initiatives, and lead generation efforts.
- Develop and manage annual sales budgets to maximize return on investment.
- Lead national and regional sales meetings to drive engagement, alignment, and performance.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and strategic partners, including negotiating and closing major agreements.
- Establish clear roles, responsibilities, and performance metrics to support a cohesive, customer-focused sales team.
- Introduce and refine sales training programs, tools, and performance measurement systems.
- Deliver sustained, scalable growth aligned with annual operating objectives.
- MBA or advanced degree preferred
- 15+ years of progressive leadership experience in sales and sales management
- Demonstrated experience in the aesthetics industry required
- Demonstrated success developing and executing commercial strategies to launch products and expand into new markets
- Experience leading large, geographically dispersed direct sales teams (100+ employees), including scaling teams during periods of growth
- Proven ability to drive performance, inspire teams, and exceed revenue targets in dynamic, fast-paced environments
- Experience managing change and leading teams through rapid growth and evolving market conditions
- Demonstrated ability to foster collaboration, engagement, and alignment across teams
