Medtronic is seeking a
** Director of Enterprise Risk Management
** to lead Medtronic’s Enterprise Risk Management function. In this high-impact role, you will drive a real-time, data-driven view of enterprise risk, leading global strategic initiatives that reimagine how risk insights are embedded into decision-making across business units and corporate functions to generate measurable business value and resilience. This role requires a forward-thinking leader who can elevate risk management from a compliance activity to a strategic enabler of innovation and long-term performance.

* Key Responsibilities:

*** Drive enterprise-wide adoption of a data-driven Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) program that strengthens risk intelligence and supports strategic decision-making across Medtronic.
* Develop and deliver executive-level reporting and presentations for senior leadership, members of the Medtronic Executive Committee and the Board of Directors on a quarterly cadence, clearly articulating emerging risk exposure, trends, and mitigation strategies.
* Integrate risk across Governance, Risk, and Compliance functions, establishing a unified enterprise risk view with clear prioritization, accountability, and alignment to corporate objectives.
* Lead dynamic enterprise risk assessments and continuous monitoring processes, leveraging analytics to provide real-time visibility into top and emerging risks.
* Champion a strong global risk culture, partnering with business and functional leaders to enhance risk-based decision-making and facilitate candid executive dialogue on complex, high-impact risks.
** Must Have:

Minimum Qualifications
*** Bachelor's degree AND a minimum of 10 years of
** relevant risk management experience
** and 7+ years of managerial experience, OR advanced degree with 8 years of
** relevant risk management experience
** and 7+ years of managerial experience. (program and/or people management experience accepted)
** Nice to Have:

Preferred Qualifications
*** Exceptional communication and influencing skills, with a proven ability to present analytics and strategy to executive audiences.
* Demonstrated experience designing and leading an enterprise-wide ERM program, including board-level reporting and executive engagement.
