Position Summary
This position is a managerial role responsible for driving sales and financial performance in the Auto Care Center and service area by overseeing merchandise management, customer service, training, compliance, and team development.
What You’ll DoDrive sales and financial performance in the Auto Care Center and service area by receiving and stocking merchandise, ensuring effective presentation and competitive pricing, maintaining inventory levels, and performing budgeting and forecasting.
Assess economic trends and community needs to achieve sales and profit goals and implement corrective plans when necessary.
Provide customer service and assistance by acknowledging customers, identifying needs, assisting with purchasing decisions, locating merchandise, resolving issues, and promoting products and services while maintaining a safe shopping environment.
Create and process customer requests and service orders in accordance with company policies and procedures, explain Auto Care Center and automotive products and services, and ensure technicians are trained and certified on service-related procedures, staging customer vehicles, and assisting with workflow.
Maintain the Auto Care Center and automotive sales floor by stocking, rotating merchandise, removing damaged or out-of-date goods, setting up product displays, signing and pricing merchandise, securing fragile and high-value items, and maintaining equipment as per company guidelines.
Handle customer and merchandise claims and returns, zone the area, order, arrange, and organize merchandise and supplies, and monitor environmental disposal (e.g., batteries, tires, oil) for OSHA compliance and customer safety.
Coordinate, complete, and oversee job-related activities and assignments by developing and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders, supporting plans to meet customer and business needs, communicating goals and objectives, measuring progress, and identifying improvement opportunities.
Provide supervision and development opportunities for associates by hiring, training, mentoring, assigning duties, recognizing performance, and fostering a belonging mindset.
Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, support the company mission, values, and ethics, implement action plans, and provide guidance on applying the Open Door Policy and business processes.

The annual salary range is $65,000.00 - $80,000.00 with additional compensation including annual or quarterly performance bonuses.

State Pay Differential:
This job has an additional differential to meet legislative requirements, where applicable.
- 2 years experience in automotive service or service industry field
- 1 year of supervisory experience
- Valid driver's license
- For facilities that sell firearms, successful completion of a firearms-specific Criminal Background Check (CBC) and Firearms Authorized Training
- For facilities that sell only ammunition with state-specific requirements, a current state-issued Certificate of Eligibility may be required
- Associate will be required to attend and successfully complete all job-required trainings and assessments (e.g., Academy trainings, Open Door trainings, etc.)
- Automotive Certification from Automotive Technical Institute
- Bachelor of Science in Business Management and Leadership through Live Better U and Bellevue University
- Experience in automotive service or related field
- Supervisory experience
- ASE Certification – Certification
