Business Solutions Director, Team Lead at Ledgent

We're seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to lead financial operations for a growing nonprofit organization. This role manages accounting functions, ensures compliance with GAAP and grant regulations, and supports budgeting and audits. The Accounting Manager will oversee a team of ~5 employees and will play a key part in processing payroll. This is a hybrid position with 3 days onsite, 2 days remote.

The first 90 days will be onsite.

$90,000.00/yr - $/yr

• Oversee daily accounting operations (A/P, A/R, payroll, general ledger)
• Prepare and analyze financial statements and reports
• Manage budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
• Ensure compliance with nonprofit accounting standards and federal/state regulations
• Supervise and mentor accounting staff
• Support audits, tax filings, and grant compliance

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field is required
• 5+ years nonprofit accounting experience, including supervisory roles
• Expertise in complex budgets ($15M+), cost allocation, and multi-entity ledgers
• Knowledge of federal/state funding, OMB, and A-133 audits
• Payroll processing experience
• Advanced Excel skills;
  Accu Fund experience a plus
