Director of Operations / General Manager – Medical Device Manufacturing

Are you a proven operations leader ready to take the reins of a high-performing medical device contract manufacturing facility? Our client, a respected player in the medical device space, is seeking a Director of Operations / General Manager to lead their California operations and drive growth, quality, and operational excellence.

• Lead end-to-end manufacturing operations, ensuring efficiency, quality, and regulatory compliance.
• Shape and execute strategic plans to accelerate growth and operational performance.
• Mentor and inspire cross-functional teams, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
• Oversee budgets, resource allocation, and financial performance to optimize profitability.
• Ensure full compliance with FDA, ISO, and GMP standards, maintaining the highest quality benchmarks.
• Collaborate with executive leadership, sales, and engineering to align operations with business objectives.
• Implement best-in-class processes to drive operational excellence and innovation.

• Proven leadership experience in medical device manufacturing or contract manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements (FDA, ISO, GMP).
• Demonstrated success managing large, multi-disciplinary teams.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or related field (MBA preferred).
• Willingness to relocate to California (relocation assistance provided).
