We are hiring Traveling Electrical Foremen (Field Managers) to oversee commercial and retail construction projects, including large-scale remodels and ground-up builds (e.g., Target, Walmart, Bass Pro Shops). You’ll be the on-site leader, coordinating field crews, interacting with clients and general contractors, and ensuring projects stay on track.
This is a travel-intensive role with full support for transportation, accommodation, and daily per diem. The ideal candidate thrives in dynamic, hands-on environments and excels in leadership, scheduling, and client management.
Key ResponsibilitiesLead and supervise field crews of 5–8 electricians and helpers.
Coordinate with Project Managers to maintain schedules, budgets, and quality standards.
Manage jobsite setup, crew mobilisation, and material readiness.
Act as the on-site company representative in interactions with clients and GCs.
Complete daily jobsite documentation (e.g., logs, safety reports, progress tracking).
Enforce OSHA safety protocols and lead regular site safety meetings.
Adjust workflows and manpower to maintain project pace and efficiency.
Maintain a high standard of workmanship and project accountability.
QualificationsMinimum 5 years of electrical experience
, preferably in commercial/retail construction.
Proven track record of leading crews and managing jobsite logistics.
Strong communication, leadership, and client-service skills.
Comfortable working night shifts (remodels) and day shifts (new construction).
Required
Certifications:
Active State Electrical Journeyman License
OSHA 30 Certification
Must pass background check and, where required, drug screening.
Valid driver’s licence and reliable transportation.
Work ScheduleRemodel Projects: Night Shift (Typically 9 PM – 5 AM)
New Construction: Day Shift (Typically 7 AM – 3:30/4 PM)
Standard Week: 40 hours, with occasional overtime
Travel Rotation: Typically 3 weeks on, 1 week off (flexible based on project needs)
Salary: $90,000 – $130,000/year (based on experience, licensing, and performance)
Bonus Structure: Performance-based, structured incentives
Paid airfare or mileage reimbursement
Company-paid housing (Airbnb or similar)
$700/month vehicle allowance +
