Location: Brentwood

The pay range per hour is $22.00 - $37.40. Pay is based on several factors that vary with the position, including the labor market, education, work experience, and certifications. The fulfillment team picks, preps, packs, sorts, and ships products safely, efficiently, and effectively to deliver convenience and quality for our guests.

Leadership Experience

At Target, we believe in leaders having meaningful experiences that help them build and develop skills for a career. The role of a Fulfillment Operations Team Leader can provide you with the following skills and experience:

  • Guest service fundamentals and building a guest‑first culture on your team
  • Retail business fundamentals, including department sales trends, inventory management, guest shopping patterns, pricing, and promotion strategies
  • Planning department daily/weekly workload to support business priorities and deliver sales goals
  • Process improvements and workload efficiency
  • Leading a team of hourly team members; skills in interviewing, developing, coaching, evaluating, and retaining talent
Responsibilities
  • Demonstrate a service culture that prioritizes the guest service experience. Model, train, and coach expectations to deliver the service standard.
  • Lead your team and drive fulfillment goals, understanding your role in supporting sales growth and your department’s impact on total store profitability.
  • Utilize your workload‑planning tools to ensure your team completes all scheduled workload and that all orders are fulfilled to meet delivery and service standards.
  • Review all fulfillment reporting to identify gaps and develop a plan to resolve them.
  • With direction from your leader, create daily plans for your team.
  • Be an expert of operations, accuracy, process, and efficiency.
  • Enable efficient delivery to our guests by leading pickup and ship‑from‑store workload.
  • Evaluate and recommend candidates for open positions and develop a guest‑centric team. Support your leader in onboarding.
  • Establish clear goals around quality, accuracy, and timeliness and hold team members accountable to expectations. Close any training gaps through coaching conversations.
  • Work a flexible schedule that aligns to guest and business needs (including evenings, weekends, and holidays).
  • Ensure supplies are ordered timely and stocked. Partner with your leader for ordering.
  • If applicable, as a key carrier, follow all safe and secure training and processes.
  • Demonstrate inclusivity by valuing diverse voices and approaches, being authentic and respectful, and creating equitable experiences.
  • Lead by demonstrating a culture of ethical conduct, safety, and compliance; hold team members accountable.
  • Model safety culture, recognize safe behaviors, identify and correct hazards, and assist with incident response.
  • Model the execution of physical security processes.
  • Support merchandise protection strategies across the store, including ordering, storage, and application.
  • Lead and demonstrate a culture of executing best practices throughout onboarding and learning.
  • Address all store emergency and compliance needs.
  • Support guest services such as backup cashier, OPU, and Drive‐Up, maintaining compliance culture.
