FLOOR TECHNICIAN (FULL TIME AND PART TIME) – SSC Services For Education
Location:
Rock Hill, SC (Winthrop University – 701 Oakland Avenue, Rock Hill, SC 29730). Openings at other locations within the school district available. Online applications accepted only.
Schedule:
Full time and part time; 3:00pm - 11:30pm, details upon interview. Pay Range: $17.00 per hour to $20.00 per hour.
- Maintain knowledge of principles of hard-surface floor maintenance and use proper procedures on hard floor care including stripping and refinishing, burnishing, spray cleaning, and spray buffing
- Operate various types of industrial floor care equipment
- Utilize automated equipment for cleaning large floor surface areas
- Perform carpet and upholstery care including shampooing, damp surface cleaning, extractions, spot cleaning, and vacuuming
- Perform maintenance and restorative processes for all floor surface types
- Other duties as assigned by the manager
- Previous experience as a floor care technician or in a related role preferred
- Proven knowledge of floor care equipment and techniques required
- Knowledge and ability to follow safety procedures
- Requires frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling of up to 50 lbs.
