** About

The Role
** The Building Maintenance Technician is responsible for general office/facility maintenance as well as some transportation needs. The Building Maintenance Technician will execute What You'll Do Here within Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), OSHA/Health and Transportation safety standards.
** What You’ll Do Here
*** Working knowledge and ability to perform basic skills including but not limited to plumbing, carpentry, painting, drywall.
* General facility up-keep and maintenance which may include but not limited to daily trash disposal, supply restock, replacement of non-working or damaged items (i.e. lights, bulbs, ceiling tiles).
* General up-keep and maintenance of the facility perimeter which may include but not limited to parking lot daily dust and leaf blowing, checking for roof leaks, window cleaning, and checking the sprinkler system.
* Responsible for the maintenance, collection and disposal of biohazard and sharps containers.
* Transportation which may include but not limited to: driving the company car to pick-up/drop-off study volunteers picking up general supplies in support of on site operations, transporting of facilities furniture, general errands and internal mail.
* Generator test and maintenance.
* Storage area organization and cleaning.
* May facilitate or assist in the facilitation of contractor(s) and service calls.
** What You’ll Need to Succeed
*** High School Diploma or GED and valid driver's license required.
* Must be able to lift and carry over 50lbs. and perform various physically demanding tasks.
* Good leadership and communication skills.
* Customer service focused, creative, and able to work in a fast paced environ ment.

** The hourly range estimated for this position is $22.17 - $29.56.
