Salary

Starting wage: $16.44 to $17.22 per hour depending on experience.

Hours

6:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

Job Description

Mowing, weed eating, snow removal/salting, moving services, assists Athletic Grounds Man in ballfield prep, trash removal, tree/shrub trimming, and occasionally fill in for absent team members. Occasional overtime/weekends may be required. Performs any and all additional duties as assigned by the Director of Maintenance and Operations or the Lead Maintenance Technician.

Required Skills
  • Ability to safely lift 75 pounds.
  • Familiarity with a variety of manual and power grounds‑related equipment (chainsaws, weed eaters, tree trimmers, electric drills, etc.).
  • Ability to operate pickups, tractors, zero‑turn mowers, forklifts, and other related heavy equipment.
Other Requirements

The successful candidate must be a high school graduate or possess a GED, pass a background check, be board approved, and complete 90 days probation.
