Job Summary
Under the general guidance ofthe Area Supervisor/Facilities Coordinator, and/ or Designee, Custodial Supervisor and the director of the Center Head Teacher. The custodian sweeps, mops, vacuums, and waxes all center and office floors on a regular basis maintaining a clean and neat appearance. Daily cleans and disinfects the facility and maintains paper supplies. Empties waste baskets daily. Loads and unloads deliveries of food, supplies and equipment.
Qualifications- Physical and mental fitness to engage in custodial work;
- Minimum of one (1) year custodial work experience;
- Must have a valid California driver’s license, have use of a motor vehicle and provide evidence of automobile liability insurance.
- Bilingual (Spanish/English) required.
- Must meet State health requirements including passing a physical examination as a condition of employment, and must provide verification of a TB clearance at the time of employment.
- Must provide vaccination records for influenza, pertussis, and measles at the time of employment, annual requirement there after.
- Must be fingerprinted and cleared through the Justice Department. Fingerprints clearance must be active and onfile with the Justice Department.
- Must have good driving record.
- Must be able to work split shift if required.
