Shenandoah Valley Elementary

12 Months, 8 Hours per day, Non-Exempt.

Hours:

2:30 pm to 11:00 pm.

Open Date: 10/17/2025
Closing Date: 1/26/2026

Oversee work of up to two custodians including assigning work, reviewing completed work of staff, providing feedback to staff, collecting and reviewing performance data, training new employees, giving instruction on proper cleaning and monitoring attendance of staff. Duties also include sanitizing restrooms, mopping, vacuuming, and scrubbing floors and other hard surface flooring, cleaning and dusting furniture, windows, doors and other related furnishings, moving furniture, crosswalk duty and locking and securing all doors.

• Prefer 3+ years custodial supervisory experience
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work with all levels of personnel
• Extensive walking, standing and bending responsibilities during normal shift; ability to lift 50 pounds and use 10-pound backpack vacuum; capable of climbing ladders of up to 12 feet
• Strong customer service orientation
• High School Diploma or GED
• Able to understand and communicate in English for basic job-related duties and response for safety
