Smile to ensure our guests are afforded a remarkable experience. The Facility Technician III is also responsible for the successful operation and oversight of the Facilities‑Maintenance employees on their shift to ensure the property is maintained to the highest possible standard.

Job Duties & Responsibilities

• Ensure operating principles are adhered to: keep all areas clean and pristine, follow all safety policies and procedures, and provide friendly guest service.
• Interact with all guests and team members to positively influence guest and team member experience while maintaining professionalism and demonstrating resiliency under difficult situations.
• Supervise processes and programs to effectively control and reduce loss time injuries.
• Control staffing levels to ensure optimum service levels, timely completion of tasks, and cost control through effective delegation.
• Complete all maintenance service requests and ensure the safety and security of all guests and employees.
• Assist Facilities Manager with the operations of the Facilities Department and collaborate with other departments to assure overall company success.
• Maintain ADA Building codes and perform general maintenance of all company owned facilities and property.
• Perform maintenance tasks as instructed by the Facilities Manager, including HVAC, generator, fire safety, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and preventative maintenance projects.
• Operate hand tools, power tools, machinery, chemical equipment, lifts, and company equipment safely.
• Monitor work performed by outside contractors and report unusual occurrences or damage to supervisory personnel.
• Handle routine customer complaints, incidents, and resolve situations positively while maintaining guest relationships.
• Work flexible schedule as required, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Essential Physical/Mental Demands And Work Environment

• Physically able to lift 50 lbs. overhead and 20 lbs. arms‑length without assistance.
• Perform oral and written communication, concentration, perception, and problem‑solving across interruptions.
• Work inside and outside in hot/cold temperatures, expose to dust, smoke, fumes, chemicals, noise, and electrical hazards.

Experience / Education

• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in the maintenance and cleaning of a large working facility or plant.
• Completed training and education from a trade or vocational institution with a certification in relevant fields.
