Job Title: Supply Planner
Location: Irvine, CA (Hybrid)
Experience: 5+ Years
Contract Duration: 12+ Months
Work Authorization: US Citizens or Green Card holders only
Role OverviewThe Supply Planner will be responsible for end-to-end supply planning activities to ensure uninterrupted product availability while balancing inventory, service levels, and cost. This role partners closely with manufacturing, procurement, quality, and logistics teams to support operational execution in a regulated life sciences environment.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and maintain short-term and mid-term supply plans aligned with demand forecasts and business priorities
- Execute Supply & Operations Execution (S&OE) activities to manage near-term supply risks and constraints
- Monitor and improve OTIF performance across distribution and manufacturing networks
- Manage replenishment and deployment planning to support service level targets
- Analyze inventory levels, safety stock, and capacity to drive optimal supply decisions
- Identify potential supply disruptions and proactively implement mitigation plans
- Collaborate cross-functionally with demand planning, manufacturing, procurement, quality, and logistics teams
- Maintain accurate planning data, master data, and system inputs to support planning tools
- Prepare and present supply performance metrics and planning insights to stakeholders
- Support continuous improvement initiatives within supply planning processes
- 5+ years of hands‑on experience in Supply Chain or Supply Planning
- Prior experience in the Life Sciences industry, including regulated manufacturing environments
- Strong working knowledge of supply planning concepts, inventory management, and distribution planning
- Experience with S&OE, OTIF management, replenishment, and deployment planning
- Advanced Excel skills, including Pivot Tables and VLOOKUPs
- Experience working with SAP systems, preferably ECC, APO, or TMS
- Familiarity with advanced planning tools such as Kinaxis is preferred
- Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and decision‑making skills
- Ability to work effectively in a hybrid environment and collaborate with cross‑functional teams
- Experience supporting global or regional supply networks
- Exposure to continuous improvement or process optimization initiatives
- Strong communication skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights
