Location:

Los Angeles, CA (Hybrid: Tue to Thurs onsite)

Duration: 8-month contract

Pay Rate: $35-40/hr

Schedule: 7 AM - 5 PM PST

This Paralegal will support the Regulatory Legal Group
, assisting attorneys with major regulatory filings and litigation matters. The role requires strong citation skills, legal research ability, and high attention to detail in a fast-paced legal environment.

• Assist attorneys in preparing and filing legal documents (motions, briefs, pleadings, memoranda)
• Perform heavy cite checking and prepare tables of authorities
• Draft, edit, and review legal documents for accuracy and completeness
• Conduct legal and regulatory research using legal databases
• Maintain case files and manage court filings
• Investigate facts and legal issues to support case strategy
• Prepare affidavits and supporting documentation
• Interview clients and assist with intake when needed
• Travel to courts when required
• Support training/mentoring of junior paralegals

• 2-5 years of paralegal experience
• Litigation or regulatory litigation experience required
• Strong cite-checking and Bluebook citation skills
• Experience with large regulatory filings preferred
• Utility or energy industry regulatory experience is a plus
